The International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF), a leader in first responder safety, has developed a web resource for its members on Ebola. It encourages every IAFF affiliate to conduct a “safety stand down” with their employer and review all infectious exposure policies, procedures, and guidelines. It is a good idea for ALL first responders to join IAFF in the “safety stand down.”

(IAFF has more than 300,000 full-time professional fire fighters and paramedics protecting more than 85 percent of the population in communities throughout the United States and Canada.)
